ACUPUNCTURE FOR BODY PAIN & INJURIES

Pain can affect every part of your life — your sleep, your mood, your energy, and your relationships. Acupuncture for pain relief brings a whole-person approach that goes beyond masking symptoms. At Little House, we treat the root causes of pain and address stress, sleep quality, emotional wellbeing, and physical symptoms together. Whether you're dealing with back pain, neck pain, headaches, or chronic inflammation, acupuncture may be a great addition to your healthcare team.

Chronic pain & acute injuries

Whether you're dealing with chronic back pain, neck and shoulder tension, sciatica, migraines, arthritis, or a recent sports injury, acupuncture is a powerful, evidence-informed path to relief. Acupuncture works by reducing inflammation, stimulating tissue regeneration, and activating your body's own healing response. From acute injuries to long-standing pain conditions, we meet you where you are.

Acupuncture for Chronic Pain

Neck, back, shoulder, & knee pain

Pain in your neck, back, shoulders, or knees can make even the simplest things feel hard. We treat directly at the source of your pain, as well as the meridians impacted that perpetuate the patterns of pain that manifest in your body.

A 2025 meta-analysis published in ScienceDirect found that individualized acupuncture significantly reduced pain intensity in chronic low back pain.

Headaches & migraines

Acupuncture for migraines and chronic headaches is a well-researched application of Chinese medicine. Rather than masking symptoms, we identify the root patterns driving your headaches — whether that's tension headaches, hormonal migraines, cluster headaches, or stress-related pain — and treat the whole system.

A 2024 systematic review published in the Journal of Pain Research found that acupuncture outperformed medication in reducing both migraine pain intensity and attack frequency, making it a powerful drug-free alternative for migraine relief.

Sports injuries, Performance, & Recovery

Acupuncture for sports injuries and athletic recovery is research-backed, fast-acting, and drug-free. Whether you're dealing with an injury (hamstring/IT band pain, tennis elbow, rotator cuff pain, shin splints, plantar fasciitis) or simply want to support your performance and recovery, acupuncture can be supportive.

A 2023 review by Mayo Clinic clinicians found that athletes treated with acupuncture improves peak oxygen levels, maximum heart rate, delayed-onset muscle soreness, pain, swelling, and joint mobility — getting athletes back to peak performance faster.
